Road Tax It has been the practice in the past that when you presented your car for the test if the tax disc was out of date you were given 30 days grace, that is to say if your tax expired at the end of May and you presented at the end of June the test would still go ahead. This is no longer the case. If your tax disc is so much as one day out of date the test will NOT be conducted. You will loose your test fee and you will go back to the bottom of the waiting list. With regard to Insurance discs and NCT certs there has never been any exceptions. If these are so much as one day out of date the test will NOT be conducted. You will loose your test fee and you will go back to the bottom of the waiting list.
Do You Think Your Car Is Safe? Before you buy a second hand or even new car check out EURO NCAP. This is where you can see just how safe you car is. All the cars are crash tested to determine just how safe they are and rated from one to five stars. If the car you are thinking of buying has a one or two star car DON’T BUY IT.
